I can't imagine living my life without my little animal companion. I think it would be horrifying to be in a position that I would have to give her up, but it appears to be happening to lots of people who are losing their jobs and homes. This Saturday, I'll be participating in a show that hopefully will get some pets into new homes. It's on the 9900 block of South Walden Parkway, in Chicago's lovely Beverly neighborhood.
