Not a Good Day
The Lucky Penny household has been a land of confusion and indecision. Mostly due to a little ten pound black dog. I have been going back and forth about Agnes staying, because I love her, or going, because Piccolo and the Man don't. One step forward, and about a hundred back. Into our third week. Agnes went after Piccolo in the yard today, unprovoked. The Man had to break them apart. I was not home to see it, but I can only imagine. For me, that was the deal breaker. I guess placing two adult female dogs together is always a touchy situation. I'm afraid that prolonging this will leave Agnes mean and aggressive. The rescue group says they have another home, and I'm hoping they hurry. I think this picture of her is kind of funny. Remember that movie Village of the Damned? You would have to be my age or older. I remember seeing clips in the Gateway movie theater with my grandmother, and asking the see the movie with the kids with the glowy eyes. It's how they practiced mind control on the people in the village. My grandmother didn't take me to see it, and I've only recently seen the entire movie, made in 1960 and starring George Sanders, on cable. My wrap up of the Jean Moss weekend is I didn't get much accomplished design wise, and I had an epiphany about the fit of my own personal sweaters. Which means quite a lot of them will be taken apart, and re-knit into beautiful, better fitting versions of themselves. I have a lot of work to do.
