A Blue Finish for Project Spectrum
Just under the wire, a blue sweater to add to the Piccolo wardrobe. The yarns used were those fabulous Cape Cod Fibers, purchased at Knit1 Chicago, The blue is called Hydrangea, I believe, and the bands are Drawn Butter, tipped in Boiled Lobster. I could go for some lobster right now! The instructions for the fringed tip at the collar will be in the book. I have a little chapter called Piccolo variations, where the basic Lucky Penny shape is embellished upon with some different stitch patterns, neck, and band treatments. So, I've been reviewing the purple opportunities for July, there's another dog sweater in the works, testing out one of my patterns again. I'm also working on another custom piece for a photo shoot, this time for a professional publication that gets read by members of Congress. I have to chart a logo for an intarsia piece, and it will be photographed in progress.
