Cover Girl

She got sent off today for the art directors' scrutiny. For the shot off the hanger, I stuffed in some balls of yarn to give her breasts! It is for Playboy, people! Knit in Cascade 220, fusion method. It has a few mistakes, which I think I would have to point out, but I didn't have the luxury of time to frog back. I did take out the neck finishing to re-knit, because it pulled in too much on the first attempt. I'll be disappointed if they don't use this sweater. I'm really pleased with the results, and that I got it completed on time, while maintaining a work schedule, attending a workshop, and taking care of a Man and a dog. I like this enough to want to do another for myself, as I now feel confident that I can knit intarsia. Props to Kathy and Sharon at Arcadia Knitting, who expedited me getting the yarn to complete this project, providing some swag to go along with the finished sweater, and for being all around super excited and supportive of this project. Tonight I'm blissfully knitting a sweater for Piccolo, and now that I'm fired up, will attack finishing that other big project.
