Project Spectrum--June
In my personal wardrobe, I'm all about the blue. This little project began as a poncho, but I didn't like the drape of the fabric I was getting with size 5 needles. So it marinated, unfinished in the wool pile, until this pattern came along. This is the cable vest from Blue Sky Alpacas. Knit on size 8 needles, I like the fabric I got much better. The yarn is a wool/mohair blend from Blackberry Ridge, and up close, has a velvety look that I really like. I would use this yarn again, and I like the simple design of this vest enough to make it again. I think it's a perfect wardrobe piece for work. The Playboy sweater is finished! Photos to come, hopefully tomorrow. It's boxed and ready to go. The Man and I are discussing a trip up North this weekend. Now he's reluctant because it may be in the 60's all weekend. Which I think is perfect. The Man can get dental work done without novocaine, have a colonoscopy without sedation, but he can't get a chill. This makes me all kinds of crazy.

Glad to hear you met the magazine's deadline.
If you guys go up north this weekend, you'll miss the big Knit Out event. Whatever you're doing, I hope you're smiling.
