Suffocating

The last day of a long week. I must confess that I had a little diversion yesterday, after a lengthy business meeting, because I just needed something creative. This resulted in a two hour drive back to the city, and me seeing Piccolo for about a half hour before I headed out to KIP. I felt horribly guilty about that. I'm sort of buried in work, and not the kind I like. It's back to the suburbs for me today. The Man and I are talking about another road trip this weekend.
I'm loving how this project is working out. These cables have so much movement. It's the cover vest on the Debbie Bliss Rialto book, using the yarn. I'm making a modification to the design, armhole shaping. The original design would have too much fabric in the armpit to suit me. I don't think I'm going to use all the yarn recommended. Cables usually go pretty fast for me. I'm past the armhole shaping in the back now.

Looks really lovely -- the yarn and the cables! I really like that blue color.

The cables are lovely. I was hoping to get to KIP but wasn't able to make it. :( I just started Bonne Marie's Sitcom Chic Cardigan tonight. I've been wanting to get to that one for a while...

I was thinking of doing the same vest. I have tons of Anny Blatt Merinos that will work.

I am so happy you ordered the Bohus kits. Let me know when you start one. We might have to have a little knit-along. :)
