We're having some down time here in the Lucky Penny household. Piccolo is on pain medication for a bad knee. The clinical term is luxating patella, and I've known about it ever since I got her, but nothing really gets done until a dog starts to have discomfort. Right now we're going to manage it conservatively, but I suppose surgery is a possibility. I love the bed she's resting on in this photo. It's reproductions of vintage dog embroidery on a quilted top. Agnes was using it during her stay, and now Piccolo won't have anything to do with it. Even after laundering. And mommy is having a financial crisis. The most I can say about it is credit cards are evil, and the companies that promote the low interest rates and balance transfers are devils. Good thing I have a healthy yarn stash. At the very least, I can knit my way through this crisis.
