Project Spectrum--June

More blue at the Lucky Penny studio. This is the little project from one of Lucy Neatby's classes. Mystery intarsia. The shapes are created by a combination of yarn overs and directional decreases. Lucy had this magnificent coat designed using this technique. I purchased the pattern, and have some dk weight yarn in the stash that can be enriched with a few select balls of some other colors. I'm thinking my Rowan felted tweed would be really great for this project. As this is a lot of knitting, I probably won't hunker down with it until the fall. The yarns used here were some Lamb's Pride, and more of that Lobster Pot that I purchase at Knit 1. This is a little bag, which is not something I personally would use as an accessory. I'm more the vintage Coach type, not the over-embellished stuff that Coach mostly produces now. But, taking the photo of this, I decided that once I embellish it with a tassel and drawstring, it might be the perfect little case for my digital camera.
