Me Vs. Machines
I've been feeling quilty ever since being at that expo. So, today I set up my 30 year old Bernina for some sewing. I was so excited at the prospect of starting new projects, and finishing old ones, like sweaters in need of a zipper. I got a little done, and suddenly, everything sticks. Disappointment! I can't find oil. I'm hoping that oil is all this machine needs. It is old, and like my car, rode hard.
So, the machine count so far:
1. Sewing machine
2. Printer
3. Computer tower.
I need a handy man, stat.

That sucks! I have oil if you need it. It was from my old Singer. Don't know why I kept it.
Also, if that doesn't work...take it to Fabrics Etc. in Elmhurst. They service machines and are great. I bought my machine there and take it in once a year for servicing.
I'm betting that it's oil it needs. I have a 25-year-old Bernina that did that once, and a little oil and a good cleaning out (I won't mention what I found inside it) took care of it. They're wonderful machines.
Of course, my daughter borrowed it then moved 1000 miles away. But she's using it to sew for her daughter, so I'm not kicking about it.
