My TNNA report, as it were

Oh, let's forget about all the knitterati that were there, shall we? I'm sure that you've read all about it on other blogs. Let's talk about what I wore. It took over a year for me to finish, with all the other projects I have going at one time. I was determined to have something new to wear, even if most of the people there had never seen me before, and would have no idea if it was new, or not. It's the Catriona vest from the Debbie Bliss Rialto book, knit in Debbie Bliss Rialto. I modified the pattern to have armhole shaping.
My book signings were lots of fun, and the hosts were so kind. R&M West Coast Enterprises on Saturday, and Checker Distributors on Sunday. If you're stocking your shop, please patronize them! One thing I can tell you--people love to talk about their dogs. I dedicated most of the books to dogs! Someone on line recognized me as Lucky Penny, and reads the blog. I met my Sterling publicist, who is a darling young lady, and, she knits! I think that my book is selling well, it is was one of the "Hot New Releases" on Amazon today, although my sales ranking sank later in the day.
My favorite part of walking the floor was having Wenlan Chia tell me that she liked my linen vest (Rosebud!).
Along with my debut in the industry, my dear friend Bonne Marie introduced her Chic Knits collection at the show. A tasteful, sophisticated display, and let me tell you, these are sweaters that you will want to knit! I know that I will. I'm thrilled for her success, and it was so great to share the experience with her.
Now it's back to normal life.............

Congratulations! My book arrived in Orlando yesterday and I have to wait for my daughter to mail it to me.

Can't wait to see the Chic Knits sweaters!
