Our Bedroom's Not Worthy

When I took the beginning quilting class at Quiltology earlier this year, most of the students worked on a smaller size of this design, the Urban Amish, by Colette Cogley. It's meant to be for someone with beginning sewing skills. I worked on a piece that was a little more advanced, but I loved the simplicity of the design, and how it looked modern, and really showcased fabrics. I've seen it made out of many kinds of prints, and you pretty much can't go wrong. I made the queen sized for our bed. It's still waiting for me to take a class to learn how to bind properly, and hopefully by that time, I can convince the Man to clean out his debris from our bedroom, so we have a worthy place for it.
