The stocking is finished and delivered. I admit that I had fun making and trimming it, even though I don't exactly have the holiday spirit, especially these last two years or so. I won't tell details here, but those of you who know me personally probably know the reason. At the very least Tom will have merry Xmas. The idea of alone time with Madeline, knitting, and some Chinese food sounds pretty good to me right now.
On a happier note, I had a birthday this past week and a really nice gathering at the store. I feel fortunate to have a group of remarkable friends around me.
In the next few days, I'm going to wrap up 2012 with my year in review. Really happy to say good bye to 2012.
