Effortless

I think about my public neighborhood dog walking appearance quite a bit. I want a kind of effortless chic. Something I can just throw on and go. Usually my winter look is this--coat over pajamas, knit hat and cowl, knit gloves or mittens, Ugg boots, sunglasses if needed. None of the knitted items match, because I hate when they do. I imagine that this sweater that I'm knitting now, for a March class at Knit 1, will be something I can throw on instead of a coat. I'm using Lamb's Pride Bulky, so it's more of an outerwear type of sweater. The pattern is from The Knitter's Handy Book of Top Down Sweaters.
