At last, cooler temperatures in the Midwest after days of heat indexes that hovered around 100 degrees. I find it difficult to function in that kind of heat. These socks are ready to keep my feet warm on the drafty back porch where I intend to get lots of work done this fall. The socks stayed on the back porch table where I would work on them when I drank my morning coffee. The pattern is Foxwood from Twist Collective. Knit on size 3 needles with Stonehedge Fiber Mill's Shepherd's Wool. I think I'm going to have some left over yarn from a sweater I'm knitting to do another pair.
