Beautiful Indifference
I was out running some errands this afternoon, after plans to go to Wisconsin with my little fambly were scrapped. I stopped into a pet shop to get some cookies I know Piccolo likes. There was an adoption event on the sidewalk at the store, and little Agnes was there. I petted her, and talked to her for a while. There was no spark of recognition on Agnes' part. So it seems she has forgotten about us, and it's probably for the best. I hope Agnes gets to be an only dog. During the photo shoot, there were some happy multiple dog families that participated, but I think that it's a tricky thing. I guess it's a combination of training and chemistry. If dogs get to pick, which I think happens a lot, Agnes didn't pick us.
