The Muse
I love to look at that little face. I love to squish her into my face. She's so adorable that I can hardly stand to leave the house. I can't stop knitting for her. She's my little dolly that I dress up in beautiful wooly things. For some odd reason, everything I make for her I end up liking much better that anything I've ever knit for myself. I was knitting a sweater using a different striping method with Kuryeon, and although the sweater looks good, the colors are just not worthy. It will go into Lucky Penny retail stock, and I'll start over in bright colors. Most of the book samples, I must confess, were knit to Piccolo's size. The sad part is, because of her timidness with strangers, and the logistics of the trip to San Francisco, she did not model any garments for the book. I'm hoping to include some home shots for my intro section. Most days I'm so filled with love for her, I think I will explode.
