We're back from another Wisconsin weekend. The Man had to see a place called Lake Delton, which is in the Wisconsin Dells. Lake Delton is newsworthy because last month, a flood broke a levee which resulted in the lake draining into the Wisconsin River, taking homes with it. The entire lake is gone, leaving a massive hole in the earth. If you don't believe me, go to You Tube, and do a search for Lake Delton. Your mouth will be gaping open. I have some photos yet to be downloaded from my camera, of the aftermath. Like what the end of the world would look like, I would imagine. We didn't stay in Wisconsin Dells as planned, because there were too many families with kids for our adult liking. So, back to our old standby, in Madison.
One of the things that I have discovered is that my book can't be found at many Barnes and Noble brick and mortar stores, which is perplexing, because my publisher is owned by the same. I would think that would be the first place for it to be found. Waiting to hear from my contact regarding what's up with that.
This is the Latifa top from the Berroco Linen Jeans booklet. I've knit it using Euroflax worsted, purchased at my convenience store.

Oh hey! We were up there this weekend--Devil's Lake actually. I had not heard about Lake Delton, but there was quite a bit of damage in Baraboo, too.
I am really going to try to come the signing on the 17th. I've been waiting to buy my copy in person because I want you to sign it!
I got to my daughter's house in Orlando yesterday and found your book waiting for me. It's been a month since it arrived! It's all new to me, and my granddaughter and I are oohing and ahhing over patterns.
Knitting will commence when I get back home!
